We would like to thank Karen and her wonderful staff for the warm welcome we have received since our arrival on Day One of our Teacher Placement at Star of the Sea, Cleveland.
They have all supported our visit by freely sharing their knowledge and practices, answering our many questions and offering us the flexibility to move around all areas of the school throughout the week.
This experience has been invaluable for a number of reasons. We have gathered many ideas, not only from our host school but also from the collegial conversation we have shared between the four of us over the last five days. This has been a great opportunity for professional development not only for ourselves but also for our school communities and the betterment of teaching and learning across the diocese.
