Introduction


Hi, I am Rachael Gadsby and I am currently working as the Literacy and Numeracy Support Teacher at St Patrick’s School Macksville. Previously I was teaching Year 2 in a cooperative classroom and before that Year 1. I am grateful for the opportunity to be able to participate in Round 2 of the Primary Teacher Placement, at St Mary’s Primary School in North Sydney. I looking forward to seeing how the school operates in relation to;

  1. Hi Rachael, best wishes for the remainder oif the placement. Have you seen any examples of explicit reteaching of concepts and ways to engage students in authentic independent learning while the teacher is involved in explicit small group teaching?
